Install on Windows

1. Download FrenzBrowserSetup-X.Y.Z.exe from this site.
2. Double-click the installer.
3. Windows SmartScreen will show "Windows protected your PC" — click More info → Run anyway. (See SmartScreen explained for why.)
4. Pick an install location. Default is per-user (no admin required).
5. The installer copies the bundled Chromium and Frenz backend (~700 MB total) and creates a Start menu shortcut.
6. Launch Frenz Browser. First-run flow walks you through:
   • Setting a master password (≥ 12 characters — this encrypts your profile vault on disk; not recoverable if forgotten).
   • Optionally signing in to your Frenz LLC account so the desktop app can verify your subscription tier.

System requirements

• Windows 10 build 1903 (May 2019) or later, or Windows 11.
• 8 GB RAM minimum. 16 GB recommended for running 30+ profiles concurrently.
• 2 GB disk space.

Where things live

• %APPDATA%\\FrenzBrowser\\profiles.db — encrypted profile metadata.
• %APPDATA%\\FrenzBrowser\\profiles\\<uuid>\\ — each profile's Chromium user-data-dir.
• %APPDATA%\\FrenzBrowser\\logs\\ — daily-rotated structured logs.
